Tentative 2008 Calendar of CLIC Events
CLIC will not offer courtesy Vessel Safety Inspections during the summer of 2008 as only three inspections were requested in 2007 and the certifier lost his license to grant certification.

Saturday, April 26th at 9:00 AM - CLIC Spring Director's Meeting - Orient Town Office
Saturday, April 26th at 6:00 PM - CLIC Fisheries Meeting and Dinner - Houlton Elks Club
Saturday, June 7th at 8:00 AM - CLIC Directors' Meeting - Location to be announced
CLIC will NOT offer a Safe Boating Course during the summer of 2008 as a chairman can not be found. If YOU want to chair this program, contact an officer of CLIC.
Saturday, July 12th - 11:00 AM - CLIC's Annual Island Picnic
Half Moon Island, EGL
Open to the public - No Cost
A boat taxi between Dickinson's Marina and Halfmoon Island MAY be available for landlubbers without a boat.
Bring a lawn chair and stay all day.
Rain Date, tomorrow, Sunday July 13th.
Due to a conflict with insurance underwriting CLIC no longer sponsors Sailboat Races, however the Peter's Cove Yacht Club will sponsor three sailboat races during the summer of 2008. First race on July 12th, second race on July 26th and the final race on August 9th. Contact any sailor for more information.
Saturday, July 19th - CLIC's 2008 Annual Meeting
Social Hour Noon to 1:00, Annual Dinner at 1:00 followed by the Business Meeting, Election of Board Members and comments by world trout author and authority, Forrest Bonney of the Maine DIF&W
Roast Chicken Quarters, Corn, Mashed Potatoes, Rolls, Beverage and Dessert
This event is open to the public - Pre-registration and Pre-payment for the meal is required.

in Don Ellis' field on eastern Boundary Road in Orient
Bring your For-Sale Items and donate them to CLIC
...we all have lots of old but still usable items that we haven't used in years...that are too good to throw away and that someone else will pay for. Those items are needed for this fundraiser.
...or rent a table space and sell them yourself.
Join the fun and festivities - Food Vendors - Displays
Visit - Shop - Sell - Eat - Browse - See Old Friends - Make New Friends
