2017 Calendar of CLIC Events
On a weekday in May 2017
CLIC is again planning to host the grammar school classrooms that have CLIC's Landlocked Salmon Fry Hatching Tanks when the kids release their hatched fry into the wild at The Thoroughfare in Orient ... but the date won't be known until all parties have been contacted ... the Maine DIF&W (who will stock yearling salmon), the several schools who will make arrangements with the classroom teachers and the busses and the helpers who will put on the picnic. CLIC will again provide a hot dog picnic for the kids, teachers, chaparones, bus drivers DIF&W stockers and the CBP officers who usually give tours to the Orient Port of Entry to the picnicers. The busses usually arrive about 10:30. Helpers are welcome.
Details will be announced as soon as they are available. Volunteers will get a free, perfectly grilled, red, Maine, hot dog (or two) for your effort.

Saturday, July 29th - CLIC's 2017 ISLAND Picnic ... is planned to be held on Halfmoon Island (aka Old Man's Island and originally known as Saddlebag Island) again this year provided that the beach is in proper order. Gather starting at 11:00 - Rain Date, Sunday, July 30th - Hot Dogs, French Fries, Soda & Water. Bring a lawn chair 'cause the tables won't hold many picnicers. All are welcome.
Saturday, August 19th - CLIC's 2017 Annual Meeting of the Membership
Location, Time and details will be announced.
Meet and Greet, Business Meeting, Election of Board Members. All are welcome.
Saturday, September 9th - CLIC Director's Reorganization Meeting
Time and Location to be announced
Installation of newly elected Directors, election and installation of 2016 - 2017 Officers and all other business brought to the floor. CLIC Board meetings are open to all CLIC members. If you wish to attend or have an item placed on the agenda, please contact CLIC's President or one of CLIC's Officers
And such other dates as are necessary or approved by the Board of Directors.
